Butterflies & Birthdays

This is a card we had done for a workshop several months ago and I'm now just getting around to posting.
If you break it down, it is not difficult. it just takes a few extra steps. Mostly due to the strip along the bottom portion. You just have to be sure to cut the right sizes.
Most of the colors are retired, but you can alwyas substitute for other colors!
I actually added the buttons later because they are non SU.

Super Simple Monday

Ok, this one is SUPER simple!
It's pretty self explanitory, but I will walk you thorough it...
I started with Purely Pomegranate cardbase in thank you card size, stamped the background polka dots with Purely Pomegranate ink using.....a pencil eraser!
Stamped the sentiment, used the word window punch, used the scallop circle punch and circle punches to make the flowers, cut inward towards the center of the scallop circle to give it petals, and used ribbon scraps for the leaves, and for the extra added touch, I used a white gel pen to create stitching where I thought it would look cute.
Drawing the stitching takes an extra minute or two, but this card is really quick to create!

Love Forever

Ok, here is a card I made for a friends 50th anniversary. It was hard to capture how pretty this turned out. I used gold cardbase, and shimmery white panel, embossed in gold. The hearts are gold cardstock embossed in gold also.
I'm also submitting it to this weeks Stampin Royalty challenge! I'm not totally sure it fits the criteria, but I hope so!

Sending Flowers because I Care

I was considering this card as a Super Simple card, but the coloring kicked it up to the mildly simple status. Heehee!

But really if you have a few extra minutes, you can make this card in a relatively short time.

The flower is from Bloomin' beautiful, and the paper is retired SU paper.

Super Simple Monday

Ok! I am back and ready to post again! So what better to come back with, than a Super Simple Monday card!

For this one, again, I used my favorite things to use.....scraps! I rummaged through my scrap pile and pulled every element on this card out of it and put it to good use! This card also only requires 2 stamps, 2 colors of ink, and a white gel pen! (oh, and 2 punches) But it is super quick and easy!
I used some of my stash of old In Colors. I have been trying to work through my hoarding issues and forcing myself to use my supplies! I'm sure none of you have to ever do that, right? *wink*

Lets Hear it for the Bus Driver!

Wow! Have I been BUSY! I haven't had much time to post or work on much lately, but I did have time to put together a quick scrapbook page using My Digital Studio! I created the bus using the digital punches and then put the happy little faces on it.
I made this page to play along with this weeks Stampin Royalty challenge ....School Days!
I'ts good to be back, sorry I was away so long!
