The Big Picture...

This week at Stampin' Royalty, we are having a Picture Inspiration challenge!
(here is the picture)

Almost everything on this card was made with a punch. The sunflowers are made with the little hearts, the medium, and biggest hearts from a retired triple heart punch from Stampin' Up, but you can substitute similar hearts :o)
I made the fence by cutting strips and cutting the tops using the corner of a square punch. Then i used the 'confetti' portion of the Cupcake Builder punch to make the 'nails'.  I had cut the stem of the flower.

Supplies:
Cardstock- Bermuda Bay, Hello Honey, Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White, Old Olive
Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Cupcake Builder Punch, Square Punch, and the 1-3/4 circle punch, 1-1/4 circle punch,White Embossing Powder, Retired Triple Hearts punch

Fill My World with Color

This week over at Stampin' Royalty, we are doing a Color Challenge!
If you have been reading my blog for ANY length of time, you will notice i always revert to birthday cards :o)
so why stop now! haha...
this card is pretty easy to figure out, but i will explain how i did the faux brads...
i used my Cropadile to punch out some small circles, glued them on, then put a generous blop (that is a technical term, by the way..) of Crystal Effects on each of them and let them dry. Voila! brad-like elements! in any color you need! and you can use..... SCRAPS! (love it!)

The Good Old Days...

The challenge at Stampin' Royalty this weeks is Masculine projects, and since Fathers Day is fast approaching, i thought i would make a card for the upcoming occasion :o)

My dad is very much into photography, and luckily, one of the images in the new Traveler stamp set, is this cool old camera!

for the background panel, what i did was take a regular panel, and cut it exactly in half diagonally, then skewed it slightly on the Early Espresso panel, to give it kind of a modern feel. the whole thing kind of reminds me of old stuff like leather and wood boxes or carrying cases, etc.
