Sassy Salutations Cherry On Top Balloon Card

This weeks Challenge at Stampin' Royalty is a COLOR CHALLENGE!

This card took me 3 tries before i got it to where i was somewhat pleased with it haha...
All it took was a small balloon punch, some patterned paper, a little cardstock, and two stamps!
I do wish that the Bermuda Bay watercolor portion would have stamped a little straighter, but waddya gonna do ;o)
I will probably make more of these now that i have the design down...

I cut the curve in the Whisper White cardstock using a plate and tracing it to make a curved edge. I did this with both the white and Bermuda Bay piece i used to layer with.
I just cut a piece of patterned paper from the Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper Stack and glued it to the bottom portion. I stamped the watercolor wash from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar set in Bermuda Bay, using a sponge to lift some of the ink before stamping so the color wouldn't be so intense. I then used my Basic Black and the Happy Birthday from Sassy Salutation for the greeting.
I then punched several balloons using the small balloon punch and arranged and glued them down.  To give them the 'shine', i used my White Chalk Marker.  The hardest part about this card is arranging the balloons to look just right! Everything else was pretty easy!

Ink - Bermuda Bay, Basic Black
Cardstock - Bermuda Bay, Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Whisper White

The Sky is the Limit Birthday Card

here is the picture inspiration!

I took a lot of cues from the picture inspiration to make my card...
i seem to gravitate to birthday cards, and there is a cake, so you know, fate and all...
I basically used some scraps, used a square to make the cake, ran it through my embossing folder, rounded the edges, added a few things, put a flower on using a gold brad (edged in gold using my Gold Wink of Stella Glimmer Pen), gold embossed the sentiment, and ran the background piece through the embossing folder as well. I used my Tree Builder Punch raindrop and Gold Glimmer paper to make the flames for the candles, stuck it all together and now i have a Birthday card!
this is another one that would be great to change out any colors/patterns to fit any age/gender...

Supplies:
Cardstock-Soft Sky, Whisper White, Smoky Slate
Stamps - Sky is the Limit
Accessories - Embossing Folders, Gold Embossing Powder, Versamark, Gold Brads, Flower Punch, Gold Glimmer Paper, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, Scallop edge Border Punch, Wink of Stella Gold Glimmer Pen

Candles and Cards

I made this card for an order a friend placed for several birthday cards. What i like about it, is that it is really easy to customize it to any age, color scheme, pattern, male, or female, it is easy to put together and uses SCRAPS!!! (which i always love!)

I did use some retired patterned paper and retired stamp for this one, but like i had mentioned, it is so easy to switch any of the supplies and you could have a similar card.
