Rose Wonder, Swirly Bird, a Little Foxy Card

This weeks Stampin' Royalty Challenge is a
Picture Inspiration Challenge!
Here is the picture i was inspired by!

Love the colors, patterns, everything! (and hey, there's cake!)
This one was actually pretty easy...
I just layered cardstock and patterned paper from the A Little Foxy DSP Stack, then stamped a single image from the Swirly Bird set on a Whisper White panel, then stamped the same image on a strip of white paper. I will probably make a tutorial very soon on how i lined it up.
Then i stamped a sentiment on top of it and used Dimensionals to pop it up.
I created borders using the Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape and circles punched out of Smoky Slate cardstock and glued in a line. to finish it off i tied some Calypso Coral Bakers Twine (retired) around it! There are lots of substitutes you can use for the bakers twine, since that particular one is retired.

Supplies:
Stamps -  Rose Wonder, Swirly Bird
Ink - Smoky Slate, Calypso Coral, Basic Gray
Cardstock - Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Whisper White, Smoky Slate
Accessories - A Little Foxy DSP Stack, small circle punch, Calypso Coral Bakers Twine (retired), Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape, Project Life by Stampin' Up Corner Rounder

Many Thanks

Here is a card i made the other day for a collection of Thank You cards i'm making for a friend.
I used several retired products, with a few current ones....

I really like the feel of this card :o) kinda retro maybe?

Stamping Marathon!

Every so often i will go into my craft room and try to use as many scraps, retired, or lonely misc. products that I've had lying around the room forever as i can,  so they do not feel unloved ;o)
About a week ago, i spent a good part of the day doing just that, and i was able to get several cards made in the process. i made duplicates of all of these cards, so that took a good amount of time as well, some i made 2, some i made 8, depending on how much of each product i had.

I thought i would share them here and hopefully give you some inspiration!

Giggle Greetings Z-Fold Card

I took a simple approach to my card this week....we'll pretend that it WASN'T because i ran out of time..... ;o)

oh, ok, so truth be told, that WAS the reason haha... however, once again, this shows that not only can you make a simple but cute card, even when short on time, but also when you don't have a lot of supplies!

I basically cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock in half vertically, to create a 4 1/4 x 11 piece, then scored it at 5 1/2, then again at  2 3/4 on one side. that creates your Z-fold.  I then just cut some squares, stamped and colored, then i added washi tape from the Pop of Pink Designer Washi Tape set, and a panel of white on the inside, cut so that it is hidden .  I added black bakers twine under the image panel, just enough so that it wraps around the card and can be tied when closed.

Supplies:
Stamps - Giggle Greetings
Cardstock - Basic Black, Whisper White, Real Red, Wild Wasabi
Accessories - Pop of Pink Designer Washi Tape, Black Bakers Twine, Blender Pen.
